Want to exercise your dramatic skills AND help the Memphis region prepare for a disaster?

We need 200 people to play "disaster victims" on June 7th for a regional drill in collaboration with the Tennessee Air National Guard and 19 area hospitals. Some lucky folks will even get wound makeup (aka "moulage").

In the morning scenario, there will be a "hurricane evacuation" into Memphis where volunteers will board a C-17 aircraft, be "triaged" and then taken to a local hospital for treatment. After lunch, there will be an "earthquake evacuation" out of Memphis, where volunteers will be evacuated from the hospital to the Air National Guard hangar to be "airlifted" to safety.

Date: June 7, 2013
Time: 7:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Location: Air National Guard Hangar (near the Memphis airport)

Advanced registration for the exercise is REQUIRED for coordination and clearance onto the base. To register, go to www.shelbycountytn.gov/PHEPP Please enter the name of the partner organization which you are affiliated with (e.g., Shelby Cares, Red Cross, Mid-South VOAD, Habitat for Humanity, etc) as this will help us with credentialing.
